- The only investment without risk
is education
In
his speech at the ceremony, TOBB President Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu said, “Muğla residents
are very intelligent people. When awarded an honorary doctorate by them, I gave
my word for this school. They then prepared the protocol and I signed it as
soon as possible.”
Hisarcıklıoğlu
said, "I am a businessman. Every investment has risk. The exception is
education. Because with education you will win, the city will win, the country
will win.”
Muğla
Chamber of Commerce and Industry Chairman Bülent Karakuş said in his speech
that the TOBB Science High School would contribute to the education in Muğla, “We
are investing in the future. We invest in people. Because we know that if
learning stops, development will stop. May our new school be a benefit to all.”
The
Muğla Governor Esengül CİVELEK stated that Science High Schools are privileged
schools, “These high schools foster young people who have adopted national
values and universal values with problem-solving skills and who can
empathize. We as a country have need of individuals who have grown up to be
able to compete in the world as well as developed manpower. Muğla is lucky in
this matter. Our education level is quite high. TOBB Science High School, which
we laid our foundation on, will raise this level even more.”
After
the speeches, the groundbreaking ceremony was conducted.
