TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu issued a letter of condolence for Prof. Dr. Şükrü Kızılot, tax expert, academy and journalist, stating that Kızılot was one of Turkey's leading tax experts and economy writers.

Hisarcıklıoğlu, expressing his sorrow for the loss of Prof. Dr. Şükrü Kızılot, said, “Mr. Kızılot was an important academician leading the economy and business communities with his expertise in taxes and accounting.

Having published 58 books and 4,000 articles, Kızılot had devoted his life to his profession and has been awarded many prizes. I am deeply saddened by the loss.

On behalf of the Turkish business community, I pray for the grace of Allah upon him and extend my condolences to his family and loved ones. May heaven be his abode.”
