TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu visited the Tarsus Commodity Exchange and met with the Council Members.
Hisarcıklıoğlu, who pointed out that the Tarsus Commodity Exchange for
its quality of service declared by international institutions as A Plus
standard, expressed that he is immensely proud of the Tarsus Commodity
Exchange.
Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that the Tarsus Commodity Exchange should be an
example by all commodity exchanges.
“The future of this country is entrepreneurs,” said the TOBB President
and went on, “Everyone is trying to raise entrepreneurs. America is trying to
import entrepreneurs. They have the ideas and projects. Please raise our girls
with an entrepreneurial spirit.”
Hisarcıklıoğlu, giving the good news that a 50-year dream of commodity
exchanges is about to take place, said, “Turkey needs to open its product
specialized commodity markets. A Council of Ministers decision has been issued
for the establishment of the Product Specialized Commodity Exchanges. I hope
that Tarsus Commodity Exchange will be a partner to this commodity exchange.”
Hisarciklioglu was informed about the cars “Myrtus” which works with
hydrogen and “Regma” which works with electricity, built by the students of
Mersin University Tarsus Technology Faculty Department with the support of various
institutions and organizations.
Hisarcıklıoğlu congratulated the students and teachers who designed the cars;
Turkey first place in promotion and dissemination for the electric car, Turkey
third place for efficiency for the hydrogen fueled car. He also congratulated
the Tarsus Commodity Exchange for its support of this endeavor and other
institutions.
