TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu attended the introductory meeting of the two new support programs by KOSGEB.

The Minister of Science, Industry and Technology Faruk Özlü, presiding over the meeting, reported thatas a part of the new project by Directorate of Development and Support for Small and Medium Scale Enterprises’ (KOSGEB) the SME Development Support Program, establishments will have access to 300,000 TRY in nonrecourse loans and 700,000 no-interest loans, totaling 1 million Turkish Liras in all.

Özlü stated that one of the new programs that they putting into effect is a call for proposals for a high-value-added products and a share of SMEs in production and exports as a part of the SME Development Support Program (KOBİGEL) and the second is the SME Technological Product Investment Support Program.

At the meeting, a cash advance of 300,000 TRY was given to 5 companies, Kimetsan Kimya, Nano Biyomed, Netmak, Bama Technology and Gökser Machinery which are active in the fields of nanotechnology, chemistry and aviation.
