TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu spoke at the opening ceremony of the new service building of the Aydın Chamber of Commerce (AYTO). “If there is a unity, success will come and you will not know defeat. Aydın, today is a brand thanks to its unity and solidarity.”
Hisarcıklıoğlu started his speech by praying for the grace of Allah upon
Tunceli CCI Chairman Yusuf Cengiz who recently passed away.
Hisarcıklıoğlu pointed out that the city lit the torch of independence during
the war for independence and thanked the businessmen for the dried figs sent
from Aydin to the soldiers serving in Afrin.
TOBB President Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that the Aydın Chamber of Commerce has
undertaken good works and offers five-star services to its members. “If there
is a unity, success will come and you will not know defeat. Aydın, today is a brand
thanks to its unity and solidarity. Aydın Chamber of Commerce is doing good works
for Aydın. It offers five-star service to our room as well as already being is
already accredited. Today, Aydin Chamber of Commerce serves at the same
standard as London, Berlin and Paris chambers. And I am thankful to you that
you have built a new building for this new star, Aydın. May it serve you and
the economy well.”
Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that Aydın is one of the richest regions of Turkey,
“Aydin is in the top 10 in crop production. First in production of figs and
chestnuts, olives, artichokes and cotton as well as second in strawberries.”
Noting the importance of the airport for entrepreneurs opening up to the
world, Hisarcıklıoğlu stressed the importance of Aydın Çıldır Airport for the
city.
Hisarcıklıoğlu talked about innovations made by the chambers and stock
exchanges, “All of our chambers have gone through our online brokerage system
and all our services can be done from home or from the office. The application
has been going on for the last one month. Our digital transformation as TOBB
has been made. We also had demands from our chambers to serve as one-stop-shop
for company establishment.
At the beginning of the private sector in 2017, Hisarcıklıoğlu stated
that the biggest problem was access to financing. He noted that, with TOBB Respite
Credits, its members were able to access 5 billion TRY in credit.
Hisarcıklıoğlu reported that they would continue to cooperate with
KOSGEB in securing financial resources for the use of their members, reporting
that a total of 671,000 members were provided with access to financial resources
in 2017.
Hisarcıklıoğlu emphasized that they will receive 140bn TRY in VAT returns
as the private sector and that the economy will be revived by the agreement of
the government, that this will be paid in installments.

Aydın Chamber of Commerce Chair Hakan Ülken said that the new service
building will serve all of Aydin.
Stating that Hisarcıklıoğlu works hard for Aydın and Turkish economy, Ülken
described TOBB President as “Chief Efe” of the Turkish private sector.
Governor Yavuz Selim Köşger expressed his wish that the new service
building would be an occasion for Aydın to earn its rightful place in the business
life.
TOBB President Hisarcıklıoğlu and Aydın Governor Yavuz Selim Köşger
opened the service by cutting the ribbon with the Governor Erol Ayyıldız
Meeting Hall and the Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu Conference Hall in the AYTO new
service building.
During the ceremony, the opening of the TOBB Aydin Vocational and
Technical Anatolian High School was also conducted.
