TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu toured the “Joint Processing Facility for Industrial Forest Products” realized by the Kastamonu Commodity Exchange (KTB) as a part of the “Competitive Sectors Program” in which the Kastamonu Commodity Exchange invested 10 million EUR". Hisarcıklıoğlu posed for photographs with the workers, receiving information about the facility from the KTB Chairman Sedat İşeri.

Hisarcıklıoğlu stressed the importance of Joint Processing Facility for Industrial Forest Products as a part of the “Competitive Industries Program” carried out by the European Union and Turkey for the region.

Congratulating the Kastamonu Commodity Exchange, Hisarcıklıoğlu said, “The investment of the Kastamonu Commodity Exchange through its EU project to contribute Kastamonu and its heavy industry is very important. It is a modern and great contribution which will greatly benefit small and medium sized enterprises.”

Hisarcıklıoğlu said that the project by Kastamonu Commodity Exchange is one of the first in its field and said, “I put great importance on the investments made by chambers and commodity exchanges aiming to better utilize potential of their provinces. We endorse and encourage such investments. I hope that this project, one of the first in its filed in Kastamonu, will provide an example.”
