The first electronic pilot application in A. TR Movement Certificate was initiated by Esenboğa Customs Directorate on April 24th, 2018.
The first electronic A.TR movement certificate with reference code 0001
was issued for the export of a member company of Ankara Chamber of Commerce to
France by Esenboğa Customs Directorate with the automation program prepared by
TOBB with the participation of the officials of TOBB and Customs and Commerce Ministry.
TOBB President Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu said in his statement on the
subject, “Every person who goes abroad has a passport; just so for every good
exported as well. Origin and Circulation Documents are the passport of goods.
These passports, which are used in international trade, will be attained by the
exporting companies in a short time completely electronically.”
Stating that TOBB and the Ministry of Customs and Commerce have been
working together on the electronic application of origin and circulation
documents, Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that the first electronic A.TR movement
document was used to export buses to France.
Hisarcıklıoğlu said that the Digital Transformation Project they have
launched in Chambers and Commodity Exchanges has moved a step ahead with this
application.
TOBB President stated that a great reform has finally been actualized in
the field of facilitating international trade with this, which was also
included in the agenda of the Council for the Improvement of Investment
Environment (YOIKK), emphasizing his conviction that the Turkish private sector
will make a difference in the international arena.
- Transactions in an electronic
environment
With this work started in 2017, all origin and circulation documents
will be prepared by the companies, approved by Chambers and regulated by customs
administrations in an electronic environment and companies will receive their
document outputs at their offices.
At the same time, it aims to make great contributions to companies
by saving labor and time.
