TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu celebrated the May 1st Labor and Solidarity Day. Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that no one can deny the value of labor and hard work. “Entrepreneurs, industrialists and workers' friends cannot be considered separately. Production is a team effort. I congratulate all of my laborer and worker colleagues on May 1st Labor and Solidarity Day.”

TOBB President Hisarcıklıoğlu said in his message:

“If we, as workers and employers' organizations, have different interests, when the issue concerns the country, the nation, we unite as one; we love and embrace one another. This is where our power and our greatness comes from.

We know that there can be no production without business ideas, entrepreneurs and industrialists, and no production without the labor and work of our brother workers. The worker and the employer can never be considered separately.

Turkey, will walk the towards the goal of civilization set forth by the Great Leader Atatürk through solidarity and unity between workers-entrepreneurs.

It is with these feelings and thoughts that I celebrate the May Day of Labor and Solidarity on behalf of the Turkish business community.”
