Former member of TOBB Board of Directors, former President of Council of Commodity Exchanges and Honorary President of Istanbul Commodity Exchange Nejat Ekrem Basmacı has passed away.

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, in his press release regarding the passing of Nejat Ekrem Basmacı, expressed deep sadness for the death of Basmacı, who contributed greatly to the İstanbul Commodity Exchange and TOBB on behalf of the Turkish business community.

Hisarcıklıoğlu, praying for the grace of Allah upon Nejat Ekrem Basmacı, extended his condolences to his friends, relatives and the TOBB community.
