TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu visited Organized Industrial Zones High Board (OSBÜK).

Meeting with Chairman of the Board of Directors Memis Kütükçü and Board Members in OSBÜK, TOBB President Hisarcıklıoğlu said, “Our OIZs are exemplary projects of Turkey, providing role models to the world. First steps of our chambers have been instrumental for OIZs reaching the point they are at today. Turkey being an industrial giant Italy and China is due to OIZs and OSBÜK is the parent organization of all OIZs.”

Hisarcıklıoğlu, stated that they’ve worked together with Memiş Kütükcü for 5 years in the TOBB executive committee, said, “We have benefited greatly from his expertise in production and industry; Mr. Memiş being OSBÜK Chairman is of great benefit to OSBÜK. We have worked together as TOBB, OSBÜK and Ministry of Industry. OSBÜK has achieved an institutional structure with this law.”

Hisarcıklıoğlu said that there are many burdens on the industrialists such as TRT tax, real estate tax, stamp tax, and said, “Are there no problems? Of course, there are. Industrialists in OSB who use electricity with the latest source supply tariff, have 15% higher costs than to the industrialists using national tariffs. We will work together with our government as TOBB and OSBÜK to solve our problems. TOBB-OSBÜK will continue to work more effectively than before. We will work together so our industrialists can produce more.”
