TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu in his assessment following the 27th Parliamentary Representative and Presidential Election, said, “Turkey has demonstrated once again that it has a strong and robust democratic tradition.”
Congratulating President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and the Nation Alliance
for their success in the election, TOBB President Hisarcıklıoğlu said:
"May the results of the June 24th election benefit our country
and nation.
Our nation has shown its will at the ballot box in the general elections
held with a high participation rate.
Turkey has demonstrated once again that it has a strong and robust democratic
tradition.
It is also pleasing that nearly the whole electorate will be represented
in the Assembly.
I congratulate our President Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and the Nation Alliance,
who have successfully won the elections.
I hope that the Executive Presidency System will be beneficial for our
country.
The new government system is a great opportunity to strengthen stability
and confidence in our country.
All that Turkey has gained in recent years is founded on confidence and
stability.
Therefore, it is possible to realize a new leap with this confidence and
stability in the new term.
Our country has experienced 4 election processes in the last 3 years.
It is the time to focus on the economy and reforms to build the great
Turkey of the future.”
