TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu received a plaque of appreciation from President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan at the Radio Television Journalists' Association's 2017 Annual Media Oscars Award Ceremony.

Erdoğan stated that there are economic pressures aimed at Turkey's economy, “Structural
problems which Turkey needs to solve in its economy are present, of course. We are
aware of them and are working to solve them. Allah willing, we will get through
this upheaval as well. We already know that our infrastructure is capable, and
has the power to do so.”
Erdoğan, indicating that the media has also received its share of the
great changes Turkey has undergone, said, “I believe that today, we have more
balanced media publications, more respectful of the truth.”

Association, thanked the Ministry of Interior and the Ministry of Youth and
Sports for their support of the “Stay in Sports, Stay Safe” project and
requested the continuation of this project under the auspices of the
Presidency.
President Erdoğan presented the awards to their recipients following his
address.
