Stating that TOBB is engaged in cooperation to better enable to expansion of SMEs into international markets, Hisarcıklıoğlu, provided information regarding the new support model they have formed with KOSGEB.

TOBB President Hisarcıklıoğlu stated the following in his statement:

Export is an indispensable element of development because it plays a key role in the realization of sustainable economic growth. Export, which is one of the oldest international trading methods, contributes to the improvement of macroeconomic balances by contributing to the growth and development of economies, protection of foreign trade balances, revitalization of domestic economic activities, employment, production and profitability.

On the other hand, business trips and fair visits by SMEs abroad increase the success rate of exports in a large amount, help to create international collaborations and enable our members to follow global sectoral developments.

In this context, we have cooperated with KOSGEB on a new support model in order to support and expand the business trips of SMEs and to increase their export capacities by making these trips more qualified.

The support model will be supported by KOSGEB through our channels, carried out on per-sector basis within the framework of specified criteria and with at least 10 SMEs participating.

I believe that this support model which we have implemented in order to increase the access of our SMEs to overseas markets will be beneficial to the business world, and I believe that all our SMEs will benefit from this support and increase their export capacities, benefiting the country's economy.
