Taking place simultaneously with the 32nd CACCI (Confederation Asia-Pacific of Chambers of Commerce and Industry) Summit which is bringing together the Turkish business community with the Asia-Pacific market with a population of 3 billion and a market volume of 5 trillion USD, various sessions highlighted issues and cooperation opportunities related to the trade and investment environment.
On
the first day of the conference, hosted by TOBB President and CACCI Vice
President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu; CACCI Awards finalists were determined;
meetings of CACCI Women Entrepreneurs Council, Asia Information and
Communications Technologies (ICT) Council, Asian Health and Education Council,
Asia-Pacific Young Entrepreneurs Group, Asian Tourism Council, Asian Trade
Facilitation Council, SME Development Council, Asian Food as well as parallel
meetings such as the Agriculture Council, the Asian Water, Energy and
Environment Council, the Policy Advocacy Working Group, the CACCI Meeting of
Business Opportunities, the Advisory Council, the Budget Commission, the CACCI
Council Meeting were held.
On
the second day of the conference, in addition to the evaluations of Yi
Xiaozhun, Deputy Director General of the World Trade Organization, sessions on
“The Changing Role of Chambers in the Support of Business World,” “Reflections
of Innovation and Digitization to the Business World,” “Regional Integration
and Connectivity for Sustainable Development,” and, “New World Order for Asia,”
took place.
