The Asia-Pacific Economic Summit, hosted by TOBB President and CACCI Vice President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, ended after several parallel sessions, bilateral business meetings, council meetings, meeting and cooperation talks.

During the last section of the 32^nd CACCI Conference (Confederation of Asia-Pacific Chambers of Commerce and Industry), the 90^th Council meeting took place chaired by Samir Modi, who took over from Jemal Inaishvili as President of CACCI. TOBB President Hisarcıklıoğlu, who was re-elected as the Vice President of CACCI, also presented his assessments. The summit was completed with a cocktail and gala dinner.

In the, “Local Chamber Awards,” competition organized by the CACCI, the Aegean Chamber of Industry was named the Best Chamber of Asia-Pacific. Hisarcıklıoğlu said, “As Turkey, TOBB and the Chamber/Exchange community, we are very proud. I would like to congratulate my colleague Ender Yorgancılar and all EBSO management and employees.”
