The Efkar Ala Imam Hatip School, commissioned by TOBB in Erzurum’s Pasinler county, was opened with the attendances of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) President Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, former Home Secretary Efkar Ala, Erzurum Governor Okay Memis as well as chamber and exchanges presidents.
In
his speech at the opening, TOBB President Hisarcıklıoğlu thanked Efkan Ala for
his services to the country and added that, “Our students who will graduate
from this school worthy of our Pasinler county will not forget Efkan Ala and
his services.”
Efkan
Ala stated that the school had been built immediately by TOBB and said, “Here
our children will receive the most beautiful education. It is a worthy school
as befits Pasinler and the nation. Erzurum Chamber of Commerce and Industry
President Lütfü Yücelik has also solved the issue of a dormitory for the
school. Pasinler has received both a school and dormitory. May it prove
beneficial for all.”
Following
the speeches, the protocol cut the ribbon with accompanied by prayers, and
toured the classrooms. TOBB President Hisarcıklıoğlu presented students with Nurettin
Topçu's book, “Morals” as a gift.
