The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu attended the Live Animal Market and Hay Exchange Construction and Management Protocol Signing Ceremony in Sivas. Expressing their gratitude for the hospitality of Sivas at the ceremony which took place at the Sivas Governorship Hasan Canpolat Conference Hall, Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that the project, the protocol of which is being signed has been a dream of the Sivas Commodity Exchange for years.
Emphasizing
that this is a visionary project for Sivas, Hisarcıklıoğlu said:
“I
congratulate the Commodity Exchange for this vision. The realization of this
was made possible with the arrival of two visionary people. Our Governor and Mayor
have contributed greatly. Without their support this would not have been
possible. As TOBB, in the framework of the laws and the authority we are
subject to, we would also like to contribute here. I would like to thank you
for undertaking such an endeavor on behalf of Sivas.”
Governor
Ayhan, stating that Sivas is where the torch of national independence was lit,
where the foundations of the Republic were laid, said that the noble spirit of
a century ago still burns brightly to this day. Ayhan said, “I hope we will
continue this noble spirit together which comes to us from the past well into
the future.”

Ayhan pointed out that there are good works related to agriculture underway in Sivas,
“We have established a company that will be an example to Turkey. There is a
very large amount of capital. Hopefully we can further strengthen this
structure. We are trying to create a certain agriculture port in Sivas. We are
trying to contribute to our farmers and reduce their costs. Sivas, for example,
will be a model for Turkey in agriculture and animal husbandry.”

Mayor Hilmi Bilgin and Sivas Commodity Exchange President Abdulkadir Hastaoğlu expressed
their wishes for the success of the protocol.
Within
the scope of the signed protocol, it is aimed to build and operate the
Livestock Market and Herb Exchange facilities in order to improve agriculture
and animal husbandry in Sivas and to protect farmers.
