The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu and Trade Minister Ruhsar Pekcan listened to the problems and solution proposals of the business community at the trade and economy meeting hosted by Hakkari Yüksekova Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

TOBB President Hisarcıklıoğlu said, “If we want Hakkari and Yüksekova to prosper, we must open the way for trade.” Stating that they always attach great importance and support to the region as TOBB, Hisarcıklıoğlu emphasized the 3T formula - trade, tourism and agriculture (“Ticaret, Turizm, Tarım”). Explaining that the path to prosperity is through trade and the path to trade is through peace, TOBB President praised the work of Yüksekova CCI. Stating that the chamber has placed first among all chambers in Turkey as a part of ​​social responsibility projects with its focus on the fight against drugs and that it has achieved great success as a 5-star chamber.

Hisarcıklıoğlu, stressing the importance of unity and solidarity, said, “Never alienate each other. We're all different. We'll think differently. Then we will meet at a common point. As long as we maintain solidarity, the path is open to us.”
