The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu in his speech at the Vocational Qualification Certificates ceremony at the Aegean Region Industry (EBSO) as within the scope of Expert Hands Project, said that the Vocational Qualification Certificate has become a sought-out qualification in all branches of business life.
Hisarcıklıoğlu
stated in his speech that thanks to the project, they managed to reach people
with professional competence, experience and in search better working
conditions.
Touching
on the importance of the Expert Hands Project, led by TOBB in partnership with
the Economic Policy Research Foundation of Turkey (TEPAV) and financed by the
EU, Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu said:
“First
of all, I would like to congratulate each of my brothers and sisters here individually
for their Professional Qualification Certificates that they’ve earned at the
end of the professional certification process that requires intensive work and
labor within the project. Expert means skilled and qualified. You will be a
sought-after; you will be able to find a job more easily. Both you, our
companies and our country will be profit.”

document”
Hisarcıklıoğlu
stated that the project covers 12 leading industrial cities and that the
chambers contribute a lot to this process.
Rifat
Hisarcıklıoğlu pointed out the necessity of Vocational Qualification
Certificate and continued:
“Today,
it is necessary to acquire a Vocational Qualification to do a job just as it is
necessary to obtain a driver's license in order to be able to use a vehicle.
The Vocational Qualification Certificate is compulsory in 117 hazardous and
very hazardous professions. It has also become compulsory for both the owners
and the employees in second-hand vehicle corporate sales and real estate. This
means that the Professional Competence Certificate has become a sought-after
competence in every branch of the business life, because this is a job that
must be provided, as well as providing a healthier service and a higher
standard of living for our people. This document is internationally valid. So
you prove your professional qualification around the world. According to
official data, about 1.5 million people need this document. This is a huge
number.”
Following
the speeches, the protocol members presented their documents to the
participants.
The
ceremony was attended by, İzmir Governor Erol Ayyıldız, Mayor Tunç Soyer, EBSO President
Ender Yorgancılar, chamber and commodity exchange presidents, women and young
entrepreneurs and representatives of the companies of the relevant fields.
- 18 of the document recipients are
Syrian
Within
the framework of Expert Hands Project, 144 people from different occupational
groups such as train driver, traffic controller, catenary maintenance
personnel, bridge crane operator, steel welder and machine maintenance worker,
received 144 Proficiency Certificates with 18 of them being Syrian.
Dissemination of a qualified workforce for the purpose of employment in Turkey
is aimed at professional qualification certification of 15,000 people in the
projects carried out in 12 provinces.

him for his work.
