The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, in his evaluations regarding the New Economic Program (YEP) announced by the Treasury and Finance Minister Berat Albayrak, stated that problems were correctly identified and realistic measures were taken.
Hisarcıklıoğlu
said the following:
“Considering
the sensitivity of the economy, a road map to prepare Turkey for 2023 and a new
economic model has been prepared.
Targeting
high growth again has given our private sector excitement and morale.
We
think that the planned steps will serve as a springboard in the economy, thus
providing a transition to a strong and stable growth process.
We
are also pleased that the steps for supporting the real sector, SMEs, producers
and investments will continue.
We
believe that the program will enable us to see more clearly and accelerate
economic activity.
We,
as the Turkish business world, will continue to work with all our strength in
line with the goals of our country.”
