The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu visited the İMEAK Chamber of Maritime Commerce (İMEAK CMC) İskenderun Branch President Kemal Kutlu and councilors.

Hisarcıklıoğlu, who exchanged views on the problems and expectations of the sector, stated that he closely followed the work of the Chamber. Hisarcıklıoğlu pointed out that İskenderun has been an important port city throughout history and said that its potential should be further utilized.

Hisarcıklıoğlu requested that the issue of resuming Ro-Ro runs from İskenderun to Alexandria be followed up on. The TOBB President stated that the establishment of a simulator center and the CMC also contributed to the sector.
