The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu met with the business community Milas and the surrounding provinces and districts. Milas Chamber of Commerce and Industry President Reşit Özer hosted the consultation meeting with the participation of Milas CCI Members and environmental chamber and commodity exchange presidents, as well as Hisarcıklıoğlu, Muğla Governor Esengül Civelek, Milas Governor Eren Arslan and Provincial Police Chief.
At
the meeting, Hisarcıklıoğlu took notes by listening to the opinions and proposals
of the participants. In his speech, Hisarcıklıoğlu thanked the Milas people for
upholding their values and said that the work done for olives was appreciated. Underlining
the value of olives, Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that the longest living people are those
partaking of Mediterranean cuisine and olive oil.

vocational training
Expressing
his appreciation for the work and vision of Milas CCI, the TOBB President
stated that Milas CCI acquired the geographical markers for tray pastry and
hand carpet, keeping their promise to him two years ago. Hisarcıklıoğlu,
stating that National Education Minister Selçuk’s initiative has contributed to
allow the business community to undertake vocational education, “We are obliged
to be successful in vocational education.”

President Hisarcıklıoğlu, also providing information about recent developments,
said that the credit insurance system they worked for 15 years to make into a
reality has come into force and called on the business world to take advantage
of this practice. Reporting that through Credit Guarantee Fund, 250,000 entrepreneurs
have been vouched for loans last year, Hisarcıklıoğlu said, “What more can chambers
and commodity exchanges do? The institution which you're a member of is providing
you bail. Nobody would do this for someone else.”
