The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) President and TOBB ETU Board of Trustees Chairman M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu planted saplings in TOBB ETU Commemorative Forest. Hisarcıklıoğlu was accompanied by TOBB ETU Rector Prof. Dr. Güven Sak.

Afterwards, Hisarcıklıoğlu toured the TOBB ETU Commemorative Forest and took a commemorative photo with students and the academic and administrative staff.

TOBB ETU students also participated in the “Breath for the Future” campaign organized by the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, where 11 million saplings were planted at 2023 points throughout Turkey. In this context, more than 5,000 saplings were planted in the newly established TOBB ETU Commemorative Forest on an area of approximately 108,000 square meters.

In the 'Breath for the Future' Campaign, hundreds of students continued planting saplings throughout the day in different parts of TOBB ETU Commemorative Forest. Many joint training companies, especially Turkish Tractors, were invited to and participated in the planting of saplings in TOBB ETU Commemorative Forest.
