The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu attended the Consultation Committee Meeting with Non-Governmental Organizations chaired by Trade Minister Ruhsar Pekcan.

Speaking at the opening of the meeting, Trade Minister Ruhsar Pekcan stressed that they convene with leading NGO representatives of the business community in these meetings and discuss their proposals and contributions when creating roadmaps for export policies.

Pekcan stated that the world economy is going through a difficult period and that new policies, initiatives and new moves should be created in this process.

Pekcan noted that global economic growth forecasts have also been lowered, and that despite Turkey's primary foreign markets also bringing in low growth figures, Turkey is in very good condition relatively.
