The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu attended the Coordination Committee for the Improvement of the Investment Environment (YOIKK) meeting held at the Presidential Complex chaired by Vice President Fuat Oktay.
In
addition to TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarciklioglu, the meeting was attended by
Family Labour and Social Policies Minister Zehra Zümrük Selçuk, Environment and
Urban Development Minister Murat Kurum, Minister of Industry and Technology
Mustafa Varank, Trade Minister Ruhsar Pekcan, Transport and Infrastructure
Minister Cahit Turhan, President of The Presidential Strategy and Budget Naci
Ağbal, Presidential Investment Office President Arda Ermut, Deputy Minister of
Justice Şaban Yılmaz, Deputy Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Abdullah
Tancan, Deputy Minister of Treasury and Finance Nurettin Nebati, Deputy
Minister of Interior Tayyip Sabri Erdil, TIM Chairman Ismail Gülle, DEIK
President Nail Olpak, MUSIAD President Abdurrahman Kaan, International
Investors Association (YASED) President Ayşem Sargın.
Vice
President Fuat Oktay said, “We will see the positive results of the
implementation of concordato reform, which was implemented two years ago in the
field of company liquidation, in the coming period. We think there's going to
be a serious improvement here.”
Vice
President Oktay stated that successful work has been undertaken in regards to World
Bank's Ease of Doing Business Index in the last two years by the public
administration under the coordination of the Ministry of Treasury and Finance,
the Ministry of Industry and Technology, as well as various other ministries in
the public sector and the private sector under the Coordination of the Union of
Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey.
