"Turkey Technology Meetings" was held at TOBB Twin Towers by E-Commerce Continuous Education Center and E-Commerce Center AS under the auspices of the Ministry of Commerce and the Union of Chambers and Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB). TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu met with Vodafone Turkey Chief Executive Colman Deegan and his companions at the working dinner as part of the event.

Board Treasurer Faik Yavuz also stated in his opening speech to the press that
they are preparing for the digital world, “We are working with Vodafone, one of
the leading companies in the world on this issue. We want to improve e-commerce
not only from company to consumer, but also from the company to the company.”
Yavuz
said there is a new revolution in trade. Yavuz stated that the Industrial
Revolution was missed 200 years ago, “We are still experiencing the trouble of
this. We missed the Industrial Revolution, but now we have a new revolution
ahead of us, called the Electronic Trade Revolution. People used to get rich if
they were on the trade road. Silk Road, Spice Road were the best examples of
this. Countries on these trade routes, people would get richer. Now there's a
'cyber highway' on the internet, the trade route of this era. It passes through
every house, and place of business.”

Turkey Chief Executive Colman Deegan also expressed his condolences to the
Turkish Army, which took casualties in airstrikes by regime elements in Idlib,
wishing healing to the wounded, and said the company was working with its
stakeholders to build a better future.
Within
the scope of the event, trainings on e-commerce and e-export are given.
