The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu met with the heads of Sakarya province/district Chamber/Commodity Exchange at a consultation meeting organized via video conference.
Stating
that TOBB has been in constant consultation throughout the last 2 months with
the Chambers/Exchanges and Sector Councils in 81 provinces, Hisarcıklıoğlu
said, “Through our Chamber-Commodity Exchange Presidents, we have noted your
troubles and problems every day. Then we talked to the Ministers one-on-one to
resolve them. In the first place, we presented the government with a 70-point
set of proposals. A significant part of this has come to life. Tax and SSI
payments in various sectors have been postponed. To reduce our employment cost,
the scope of the short working allowance has been expanded and made faster.”
Hisarcıklıoğlu
reminded that various loan packages for companies have been implemented,
finally TOBB and Denizbank have launched the 7.5 percent interest Breath Credits,
where the repayment will begin in 2021, and they expect the public banks to
join it soon.

emphasized that a new issue, a new problem arises every day, “So this is a
dynamic process. Therefore, we are in contact with our members without breaks
and continue to noted difficulties and suggestions. I am also proud to see that
our Sakarya Chambers and Exchanges work with vision and continue to serve our
members. You, both the management, the council and the professional committees,
are working hard and diligently, keeping the pulse of our members and becoming
interpreters for them.”
