Thanks to the digital transformation made in the Turkish Trade Registry Gazette issued by the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB), announcements are being published electronically within 2 hours.

President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, said in a statement on the subject, through
the cooperation of TOBB and the Ministry of Commerce General Directorate of Domestic
Trade, e-transformation project for announcements sent to the Gazette Directorate
electronically has been launched. With the project, the registration of the announcement
carried out in MERSIS is transferred electronically to the Gazette Directorate
and published within two hours at the latest.
In
this context, Hisarcıklıoğlu noted that the application was commissioned in
Ankara Chamber of Commerce, which was chosen as the Pilot Chamber as of July 1,
2020, “Within the scope of the project, which is underway, 300 commercial
record directorates of 124 chambers were trained and implemented in our chambers
participating in the application training. With the application, the need for
transactions to happen quickly in trade has been met. Approximately 7,500
advertisements have been transferred to our Union electronically as of July 1,
2020, when the application was commissioned. We started to receive over 1,000
advertisements electronically on a daily basis.”
Hisarcıklıoğlu
emphasized that they have declared 2020 as the year of digital transformation
for the Turkish Trade Registry Gazette, and that the software infrastructure of
the newspaper has been renewed, that the website has been updated, that it can
be accessed via the e-government gate or via e-signature. Hisarcıklıoğlu stated
that announcements published in the Turkish Trade Registry Gazette, focus on
the ease of use of readers with color coded titles of the announcements and the
new publication management system, and that, as opposed to hardcopy announcements
which were published in the Gazette in 2 days, announcements are published in
the following day.
Thanking
Minister of Commerce Ruhsar Pekcan and the General Directorate of Domestic Trade
bureaucrats for their cooperation and contributions, Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that
TOBB will continue digital transformation in its services, expressing his
wishes for the application to serve Turkey and the commerce community well.
The
Turkish Trade Registry Gazette, which is an archive of Turkey's commercial
development and ensures that trade is carried out in a secure way, has been
issued by the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey since 1957.
More than 16,000 copies have been published since 21.02.1957, when the first
issue of the Turkish Trade Registry Gazette was published. These copies consist
of 5.2 million pages and contain 17.6 million announcements.
