The annual meeting of the Joint Members Committee of the Union of European Chambers of Commerce and Industry (EUROCHAMBRES) was held via video conference.
The annual meeting of the EUROCHAMBRES Joint
Members Committee, which represents non-EU countries of the Union of European
Chambers of Commerce and Industry (EUROCHAMBRES), chaired by TOBB President and
VICE President of EUROCHAMBRES M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, was held via video conference.
At the meeting, Covid-19's impact on countries
and activities carried out by the Chambers were expressed in this context.
The meeting also held pre-selection for the
countries which are candidates to represent their joint members on the
EUROCHAMBRES Board of Directors. TOBB President Hisarcıklıoğlu will continue to
represent non-EU countries as EUROCHAMBRES Vice President on the EUROCHAMBRES Board
of Directors in 2021. Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Ukraine and Georgia have
been elected as Members of the EUROCHAMBRES Board of Directors.
