At the extraordinary meeting of the Turkic Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Baku, which operates under the umbrella of the Turkic Council, the statement expressing the support of the Turkic world business community to Azerbaijan was accepted.
The statement, agreed upon after the meeting by
Azerbaijani Economy Minister Mikayil Cabbarov, Turkic Council Secretary General
Baghdat Amreyev, Azerbaijani Deputy Foreign Minister Ramiz Hasanov, Turkic
Chamber of Commerce and Industry President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu and
officials of the Chambers of Commerce of Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan and
Kazakhstan, notes that Nagorno-Karabakh issue should be resolved within the
framework of the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan.
Armenia strongly condemned Azerbaijan’s attacks
on civilian settlements and asked the world public to demand that Armenia stop
the attacks and withdraw from occupied Azerbaijani territory.
Members of the Turkic Chamber of Commerce and
Industry are ready to contribute to infrastructure and development projects to
be carried out in areas recovered from the occupation, the statement said.

Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, President of the Turkic
Chamber of Commerce and Industry, told reporters that they were in Baku to
support Azerbaijan against Armenia's attacks.
Hisarcıklıoğlu strongly condemned Armenia's
attacks on civilians, noting:
“I wish success to the heroic Azerbaijani army
who are fighting to save their territory from invasion. The progress shown by
the Azerbaijani army makes the entire Turkic world proud and happy. In mutual aid
and solidarity, I believe that the Azerbaijani people will come out of this war
with a saga. The people of Azerbaijan are writing history in gold letters to
leave to future generations. As the Turkic world business community, we are
ready to make every contribution to the development of areas that have been
saved from occupation.”
