TOBB President and TOBB University of Economics and Technology (ETU) Board of Trustees Chairman M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, said in his November 24th Teachers' Day message, “Our teachers who teach people first to read, then knowledge and life deserve the deepest appreciation.”
Hisarcıklıoğlu said that the young
generations of well-trained, well-equipped teachers are the greatest force to carry
society forward in the race for civilization.
TOBB President and TOBB ETU Board of
Trustees Chairman M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu stated the following in his message:
“Our teachers are among those who shape
and guide society. They have the greatest share in the success of our children
and their place in society as skilled individuals.
As Gazi Mustafa Kemal Ataturk pointed out,
only teachers destroy ignorance, which is the enemy of society. That is why our
teachers who teach history are the main founders of our future.
The work of teachers is educated people.
It's the people who run this country, the artists, the scholars, the athletes,
the businessmen, the workers, the peasants, the civil servants.
In short, it is basically the education
that our teachers give that shape everything.
With these feelings and thoughts, I
celebrate the November 24th Teachers' Day of our esteemed teachers
and pay my gratitude and respect to our education community.”
