The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu attended the opening of the “Coding School” project implemented within Kahramanmaraş TOBB Science High School.
TOBB
President Hisarcıklıoğlu said, “Today, as TOBB, we are undertaking an auspicious
new endeavor in Kahramanmaraş. Within the scope of TOBB Science High School,
which we have built here, we are opening the Coding School."
Emphasizing
that they act in accordance with the spirit of time, Hisarcıklıoğlu said, “Because
we are in the digital age. We're in a period where machines start talking to
machines. We see AI competing with human intelligence. In fact, we live in the
days when machines start talking directly to people. To talk to machines, it is
also important to know coding and translate what we have in mind into machine
language. In other words, just as it used to be an advantage to speak English,
in today's world, those who know how to code stand out.”
Stating
that he was very pleased to see that Kahramanmaraş had this vision,
Hisarcıklıoğlu said, “If we educate our children well, if we maintain our unity
and solidarity, god willing, no one can stand against us.”
