The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu attended the meeting of the Joint Professional Committees of Bursa Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

President Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that from the very start of the pandemic, they
carried out swift work with chambers and exchanges, collecting information from
all provinces and sectors, “Bursa CCI President İbrahim Burkay also noted your
problems and forwarded your demands. You didn't leave our members alone during
this troubled time, you stood by them. So, with the information we received
from you, we prepared a 70-point set of recommendations. We presented it to our
President in March. Most of them have come to life.”
Hisarcıklıoğlu
said that they continued to work in coordination with chambers and exchanges
and continued to communicate your requests to the Government.
Finally,
the TOBB President said that rent and income loss support was provided for
tradesmen and real person traders, and that the taxes of some business places,
which were temporarily suspended due to the pandemic, were postponed.
While
the problems experienced were consulted at the meeting, requests and proposals
were evaluated to communicate to the relevant institutions.
