The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu called on all fast-growing companies to participate in the 'Turkey 100' program during the launch meeting for the start of applications for the 7th term of the Turkey 100 program. “We are taking Turkey's 100 fastest growing companies to the world league,” Hisarcıklıoğlu said.
The
“Turkey 100” program, in which “the 100 fastest growing companies” were
determined, was opened for applications for the 7th term. Under the
leadership of TOBB, sponsored by Vodafone Business, the new collaboration was
promoted online within the scope of the program organized in cooperation with the
Economic Policy Research Foundation of Turkey (TEPAV) and TOBB University of
Economics and Technology (TOBB ETU).
TOBB
President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu said that as of 2011, they organized the “Turkey
100” program to identify fast-growing companies in Turkey, increase their
visibility and appreciate their success.
Stating
that these companies are star companies which have grown at least 10 times Turkey's
national income growth, Hisarcıklıoğlu said:
“They
are companies which increase their per-employee production, that is, their
productivity, their employment much more than other companies. They are
companies which use digital technology effectively and care about innovative,
young, sustainable and green growth. We want these well-managed, promising
companies to open up more and grow more. We want these companies to be active
not only at home but also abroad, and to export more to make it easier for
investors and customers to reach them.”
Hisarcıklıoğlu
underlined that entrepreneurship is the key to prosperity and development,
noting that each entrepreneur employs an average of 10 people. Stating that
entrepreneurship comes with enthusiasm, Hisarcıklıoğlu continued:
“With
the Turkey 100 program, we want to increase the number of our entrepreneurial
role models and set an example for new entrepreneurs. We want all our young
people, our women, to hear these success stories. Let them hear so that they
are more eager to become entrepreneurs.”
Hisarcıklıoğlu
stated that they attach great importance to the digitalization and e-commerce
support Vodafone offers to companies and SMEs and spoke about their cooperation
with Vodafone to date.
Hisarcıklıoğlu
shared the following information regarding participation in the program, which
was held for the 7th term this year:
“In
the Turkey 100 program, we will evaluate the companies according to their
2017-2019 growth. You can apply for free on the Turkiye100.tobb.org.tr website.
I invite all our fast-growing companies to apply to the Turkey 100 program.
Because we are bringing the 100 fastest growing companies of Turkey to the
world league.”
The
deadline for applying for the program is March 31, 2021.
- Vodafone Turkey Executive
Director Engin Aksoy
Vodafone
Turkey Executive Director (CEO) Engin Aksoy stated that as a company which touches
all segments of society with its products and services, they have an important
role in social transformation.
“SMEs
have a part to play in the social transformation we aim for. SMEs, the
lifeblood of the Turkish economy, account for 99.9% of total enterprises. We
see preparing these businesses for the digital world of the future as part of
our goal-oriented stance. We have once again joined forces with TOBB to
accelerate the adaptation of SMEs to digital marketing and e-commerce. We will
contribute to the 'Turkey 100' program we sponsor with free support packages
for SMEs. Within the scope of TOBB Turkey 100 program, we will provide a total
of 12 million TL worth of benefits to the participating and winning enterprises.
With this cooperation, we want to show that we stand with our SMEs with our
technological strength on the road to digitalization. If our SMEs win, all of
Turkey wins. Under the umbrella of Vodafone Business, we will continue to
support the growth of SMEs with our digital solutions.”
- What are the opportunities
waiting for businesses?
Vodafone
Business, which sponsors the program, will offer the “Data Oriented SMS”
solution to all businesses applying for the program and the “e-Commerce Service
Package” free of charge along with “Facebook and Instagram Advertising Service”
to the top 100 businesses in the program. Vodafone Business will provide a
total of 12 million TL worth of benefits to the businesses participating in the
“Turkey 100” program and winning the program with these free products and
services.
Vodafone
Business has also prepared a support package for tradesmen and SMEs.
Accordingly, all tradesmen and SMEs who want to benefit from the support
package, whether they are Vodafone customers or not, will be offered free
digital marketing consultancy for 3 months. In this context, tradesmen and SMEs
will be supported especially in search engine and social media issues. In order
to benefit from Vodafone Business's support package, it is necessary to apply
at “vodafone.com.tr/buyukdestek”. Vodafone Business aims to reach all tradesmen
and SMEs throughout Turkey with its new support package. If 100,000 tradesmen
and SMEs benefit from this service offered by Vodafone Business, this would
total 36 million TL worth of benefits to those participating.
The
sales revenues of the companies applying to the “Turkey 100” program since 2011
will be evaluated according to the growth rate and the top 100 companies that
increase their sales revenues at the highest rate will be determined. With the
public disclosure of these companies, visibility, which is one of the necessary
elements for them to continue their growth, will be provided through TOBB-led
programs. This will make it easier for these companies to access new partners,
customers and suppliers.
