M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, President of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB), attended the Retailers and Shopping Mall Investors Consultation Meeting held online. Hisarcıklıoğlu consulted with industry representatives about the effects of the pandemic and current sectoral developments.

TOBB President Hisarcıklıoğlu pointed out that the services sector is one of the sectors affected by the pandemic, “As I have always said, together there is grace and prosperity; anguish in dissent. Mall investors and retailers are like two halves of the same apple. If one is bad, the other is affected. Therefore, we must act together and solve our problems with common purpose.”

Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that they follow the problems of the sector and that all stakeholders take constructive approaches and strive to relay them to the relevant authorities and find solutions.
