The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu attended the Gebze Chamber of Commerce Darıca District Service Complex Groundbreaking Ceremony.
Speaking at the opening
of the ceremony, the TOBB President expressed his wishes for the service
complex to serve Darıca well. Emphasizing that Gebze Chamber of Commerce is a
very successful chamber of commerce that stands out constantly with its vision
and activities, Hisarcıklıoğlu said, “Gebze is not a province, but the quality
of our chamber has become competitive with the provincial chambers through its
work. Our Gebze Chamber of Commerce is an accredited chamber. Accredited
chamber means the chamber is accredited with a worldwide system. 5-star
servicers are awarded accreditation. It's a 5-star chamber, just like hotels in
tourism. Today we have a 5 star chamber in our Gebze Chamber of Commerce. Our Gebze
Chamber of Commerce serves its members at the same level quality as the
Chambers of Commerce in Paris, Berlin and London.”
Hisarcıklıoğlu stated
that Gebze Chamber of Commerce has consistently shown itself on social
responsibility and in every national issue, “Just as in the latest forest fire
in Muğla, the chamber mobilized rapidly from the first day. Nail Çiler quickly
arrived in the area. I saw it with my own eyes on the field. He worked hard. He
obtained the aid needed from Gebze and sent them to the region. You are doing
an enormous job to meet the needs of the citizens who suffered from the fires.
What else can a chamber of commerce do? Wherever there is trouble, wherever it
is needed, our Gebze Chamber of Commerce is there and doing its part. The chamber
adds value to Gebze and produced services for you in all subjects. Having such
an active chamber is a great opportunity for Gebze. It is a source of pride for
Gebze.”
In addition to
Hisarcıklıoğlu, Kocaeli Governor Seddar Yavuz, Kocaeli Metropolitan Mayor
Assoc. Dr. Tahir Büyükakın, Darıca Mayor Muzaffer Bıyık, Gebze Chamber of
Commerce Chairman Nail Çiler and guests attended the ceremony.
