On the 30th Anniversary of Kyrgyzstan's Independence, as a part of the celebrations, the “Kyrgyzstan Photography Exhibition” was opened in the TOBB Conference Hall Foyer by the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu and Kubaniçbek Ömüraliyev, Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan.

Hisarcıklıoğlu emphasized that bilateral relations with Kyrgyzstan are very
valuable for the Turkish business community, “We work closely with all our
interlocutors, especially the Kyrgyzstan Chamber of Commerce and Industry, for
the development of our bilateral relations. Additionally, we work together in
the Turkic Chamber of Commerce and Industry, where both Kyrgyz and Turkish
business worlds take part and which I am the president of.”
Stating that nearly 500
Turkish-owned companies operate in various sectors in Kyrgyzstan,
Hisarcıklıoğlu said that these companies are investing in Kyrgyzstan's
promising future, supporting Kyrgyzstan's development efforts, and that he
believes this exhibition will contribute to the strengthening of the
Turkish-Kyrgyz brotherhood.
On the 30th
anniversary of the independence of the Kyrgyz Republic, Hisarcıklıoğlu thanked
Ambassador Ömüraliyev for bringing Kyrgyzstan's art exhibition to the business
world.

Kubaniçbek Ömüraliyev thanked TOBB President Hisarcıklıoğlu for his support in
organizing the exhibition. Ambassador Ömüraliyev said Turkey is the first
country to recognize Kyrgyzstan's independence, and that co-operation between
the two countries has been successful in all areas for 30 years.
Emphasizing that Turkey
is one of Kyrgyzstan's main trading and investment partners, Ambassador Ömüraliyev
stated that the trade volume between the two countries was $508 million in the
first 8 months of 2021, and that work was underway to increase this to $1
billion. Ömüraliyev stated that one of his most important objectives is to
increase the flow of direct investment to Kyrgyzstan.
