SiRo was established to develop energy storage solutions in partnership with TOGG and Farasis Energy for the production of battery modules and packages that will power Turkey's Automobile Enterprise Group (TOGG).

Minister of Industry and Technology Mustafa Varank received TOBB President and TOGG Chairman M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu and Farasis Energy Co-Founder and CTO Keith Kepler.

SiRo will build a factory next to TOGG's production center in Gemlik. During the meeting, Hisarcıklıoğlu and Kepler signed SiRo's 20 GWs battery investment plan and incentive application file, which will operate in domestic battery production.

Deputy Minister of Industry and Technology Fatih Kacır, TOGG Vice Chairman Tuncay Özilhan, TOGG Board Member Ahmet Nazif Zorlu, TOGG Executive Director and SiRo Chairman Gürcan Karakaş, SiRo Commercial General Manager Özgür Özel, SiRo Technical General Manager Stefan Bergold and TOBB Deputy Secretary General Sarp Kalkan were also present at the meeting at the Ministry of Industry and Technology.
