Kyrgyzstan President Sadir Caparov received M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, President of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB), and the accompanying delegation.
During the meeting,
which saw discussion on current issues such as trade and economic cooperation
and the implementation of important projects, Hisarcıklıoğlu thanked President
Caparov for the invitation. Hisarcıklıoğlu conveyed President Erdoğan's
greetings and congratulated him on the 30th anniversary of
Kyrgyzstan's independence.
President Caparov
stressed that the parties are continuing the best traditions of interstate
relations, which were put forward exactly 30 years ago, adding that “Turkey is
not only a strategic partner for Kyrgyzstan, but also a sister country.”
Caparov expressed hope
that Kyrgyz-Turkey cooperation will reach a new level in the fields of
political, trade, economic and investment, while confirming that he will meet
with President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan as part of the Heads of State summit of
Turkic-Speaking Countries in İstanbul in November.
