The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu said that the minimum wage should be increased above the inflation rate and costs should be reduced so that the sustainability of enterprises is not damaged.

Regarding the 2022 minimum wage hike negotiations, Hisarcıklıoğlu said on his social media account, “Those who work hard and earnestly should be supported. The minimum wage should rise above the inflation rate. The minimum wage tax should be abolished. Income Tax brackets should be raised. Minimum wage support should be increased. The sustainability of enterprises should not be damaged, costs should be reduced.”
