M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, President of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB), attended the General Assembly of the Turkish Confederation of Young Businessmen (TÜGİK) held at TOBB Twin Towers, hosted by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.
Attending the General
Assembly in addition to President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and TOBB President M.
Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu were Vice President Fuat Oktay, AK Party Deputy Leader
Binali Yıldırım, TÜGİK President Erkan Güral and TÜGİK delegates.
President Recep Tayyip
Erdoğan said in his speech that the goals of making Turkey among the 10 largest
economies in the world are not a hollow promise or rhetoric. “On the contrary,
we first established the infrastructure to realize this claim, then we
announced our goal. For this reason, through you, I ask every member of my
nation to believe in their country, trust us, support our goal. When we work
arm-in-arm in unity, togetherness, brotherhood, just as we have failed coups in
the past, if we have brought terrorist organizations to the point of end, if we
have made Turkey a country that is listened to in its region and in the world,
whose attitude is decisive, we will achieve this with Allah's permission.”
TÜGİK Chairman Erkan
Güral stated that the new 60 billion liras support package ensured by the
Credit Guarantee Fund announced the previous day will ensure that the economy
is moving forward safely.
