M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, President of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB), attended the Fatsa Chamber of Commerce and Industry & Fatsa Commodity Exchange Chamber / Commodity Exchange Joint Meeting and Award Ceremony.
Hisarcıklıoğlu said
that the service provided in Fatsa is of the same standard as the service
provided by the chambers of commerce and exchanges of London, Paris and Berlin.
Hisarcıklıoğlu stated
that within the scope of the protocol signed with Minister of National
Education Mahmut Özer, they will build a school in Fatsa as TOBB at the request
of the chamber and commodity exchange presidents, and congratulated the
district on the school.
Hisarcıklıoğlu stated
that there are problems in the economy, “There is never any uniformity in the
economy. There's no such thing in business, no rose-tinted world. There are
always ups and downs,” he said.
Underlining that they
have the will and the means to overcome all adversity, Hisarcıklıoğlu said:
“Because we have successfully demonstrated this as the Turkish private sector
in the past. All we ask of the government is that they put us in the ring on
equal terms with our opponents around the world. We'll figure it out. We'll do
it moving forward, just like we did in the past. Whatever conditions my
opponent produces, whatever the conditions are, from employment to production,
exports, financing to transportation, the Turkish people will take care of them
together with the entrepreneurial spirit. Finally, I ask you, my dear brothers
and sisters, do not marginalize each other. That's the biggest problem I've
seen. Do not marginalize your brother because of his ethnicity, sect, political
opinion.”
