M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, President of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB), evaluated the growth figures for 2021, announced by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TURKSTAT).

Stating that Turkey's economy grew by 11% in 2021, Hisarcıklıoğlu said, “Despite the problems experienced, the work of our entrepreneurs and the measures we’ve taken are yielding results. Support, especially in struggling sectors, will make growth sustainable. Now is the time to focus on the fight against inflation, 2022.”
