M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, President of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB), attended the 140th Anniversary of the Antalya Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Awards for Contributors to the City via video conference.
Hisarcıklıoğlu stated
that he is happy to have a long-established and national institution like ATSO,
which has guided the economy of Antalya and Turkey with its history spanning 3
centuries. “Antalya Chamber of Commerce and Industry has always been referenced
and the pride of our community with its experience and reputation brought by
140 years, the corporate structure it has continuously strengthened, the
projects it has implemented and the work it has brought to Antalya. In fact,
Antalya has become a symbol of the transformation of the Turkish economy with
its great success story in the economy. It has become the shining star and brand
city of this great region, which encompasses not only Turkey, but also the
entire Mediterranean, and has done so by our entrepreneurs who will receive
their well-deserved awards in a moment. Antalya CCI has also grown and
developed in a manner worthy of Antalya.”
Hisarcıklıoğlu said
that the tenacious work of ATSO and its members played a huge role in Antalya
becoming a city of agriculture, tourism, trade, production and exports.
Emphasizing that
Antalya CCI is an interpreter of the voice of its members by keeping the pulse
of the business world in Antalya in the best way, it has stepped in to solve
its problems and has concluded them as well, the TOBB President continued:
“Today, ATSO has come
to serve its members to the same standard as the most powerful chambers in
Europe and has certified this accreditation. With a contemporary, innovative
and member-oriented working approach, it has carried its historical
responsibility in the best way. This decisive and rational vision of our
chamber, professional management style, is a great win for Antalya. I
wholeheartedly congratulate the architects of all these achievements,
especially my brother Davut Çetin, who is also my colleague in TOBB management,
the Board of Directors, the Assembly, the professional committees, our
secretary general and my working brothers. I would like to express my gratitude
to all our members who have worked here since its establishment, and I pay
tribute to those who have passed away. I wish you many years of success with
this 140-year-old historic institution. I wholeheartedly congratulate our
companies, members and all entrepreneurial brothers and sisters who will
receive awards for their contributions to Antalya.”
