The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu visited Mersin Commodity Exchange and met with Council Members.

Stating that he is proud of Mersin Commodity Exchange, Hisarcıklıoğlu said, “This is an exemplary Exchange with its works and projects. An accredited exchange. In the quality of service it provides, you provide 5-star service. I'm proud of you for that.”

Emphasizing that the pandemic period once again showed the importance of the food, livestock and agriculture sector, Hisarcıklıoğlu said, “The work you do is very important. Every year, as much population as Turkey is added to the world. The products whose prices have increased the most in the last 10 years are agricultural and livestock products. Don't give up on this area. You are needed.” Hisarcıklıoğlu also listened to the demands of the Council Members.

Ömer Abdullah Özdemir, Council President of Mersin Commodity Exchange, gave information about the work of the Commodity Exchange and conveyed the problems.
