12.08.2022 Keşan Edirne
The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu visited Keşan Commodity Exchange. Hisarcıklıoğlu discussed the problems on their agendas and solution proposals with the Members of the Assembly during the visit hosted by Keşan Commodity Exchange President Necmi Kaymaz.
Councillors expressed the high input costs experienced in the
agriculture and livestock sector.
Keşan District Governor Cemalettin Yılmaz, Keşan Mayor Mustafa
Helvacıoğlu, Keşan Commodity Exchange Council Chairman Kemalettin Uslu, Keşan
Commodity Exchange Chairman Necmi Kaymaz and executives accompanied
Hisarcıklıoğlu's Commodity Exchange itinerary.
TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, noting that licensed
warehousing and product specialized exchange is revolutionary in Turkish
agriculture, said, “We added licensed warehousing to the law in 2005 for the
healthy storage of products stored under the ground. Today the licensed
warehousing is seated. One of the largest warehouses in LİDAŞ is in Keşan. We
do this in partnership with the TMO. In addition, our commodity exchange is
also a partner of the Turkish Product Specialized Exchange. In other words, we
are in a place where the electronic bill of goods is easily bought and sold at
any point in the world. Physically, the goods no longer need to go from one
place to another. There is no need to look at the quality of this. This is a
great revolution.”
- 'In the coming period, the one who feeds the world will be the
leader of the world'
In his speech, Hisarcıklıoğlu said, “In the coming period, the one
who feeds the world will be the leader of the world. Neither you nor your
children should give up on this job. There is no job without trouble. You said
the troubles. As the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges, our duty is to
convey the problems. We conveyed the issues conveyed to us to 6 ministers under
the chairmanship of Vice President Fuat Oktay together with our chamber and
commodity exchange presidents.”
