The Order was presented by Azerbaijani Economy Minister Mikail Jabbarov at a ceremony.
By the decision of the
President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Aliyev of April 25th, 2022,
Hisarcıklıoğlu was awarded the ‘Order of Friendship’ for his activities for the
development of Türkiye-Azerbaijan economic relations, his contributions to the
economic development of the Republic of Azerbaijan and his work in the field of
entrepreneurship. The Order of Friendship was presented in Baku yesterday by
the Minister of Economy of Azerbaijan Mikail Jabbarov with the participation of
Ambassador of the Republic of Türkiye to Baku Cahit Bağcı and businessmen.
Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu,
emphasizing that Türkiye and Azerbaijan are a single nation with two two
states, thanked President Ilham Aliyev and Economy Minister Mikail Cabbarov on
behalf of the Turkish business world for the ‘Order of Friendship’ awarded him.
- We stand with
Azerbaijan
Hisarcıklıoğlu said,
“First of all, I congratulate the glorious victory of brotherly Azerbaijan.
This victory has made us all proud. It has ended a great injustice. As the
Turkish business world, I once again congratulate Azerbaijani President Ilham
Aliyev, who saved Karabakh from occupation by showing great leadership. We, as
the business world, stand by Azerbaijan with all our possibilities.”
- Reconstruction of
Karabakh
Stating that the
business people of the member countries of the Turkic Chamber of Commerce and
Industry met in Shusha for the reconstruction of Karabakh, Hisarcıklıoğlu made
the following statement: “We are ready to do our part for the development of
the region and the strengthening of peace. We were in Shusha, the symbol city
of Karabakh, for our message of cooperation and support. As the Turkic Chamber
of Commerce and Industry, we organized a forum with the participation of
businesspeople from the Turkic world for the construction and restructuring of
the regions liberated from the Armenian occupation. About 200 businesspeople
from Türkiye, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Hungary took part.
Now it is in our hands
to make Karabakh and Shusha a shining star like Baku and other Azerbaijani
cities. Undoubtedly, Karabakh will regain its former glory and self-identity.
New roads in the liberated areas will expand logistics capabilities. From
agriculture to tourism, from food, from industry to informatics, we must make
Karabakh a center of attraction.”
