chambers during the pandemic
Hisarcıklıoğlu stated
that he took part in the management of many business organizations abroad and
said, “They always asked me there. How did you get through the pandemic with
little damage? We have survived with your selfless work.” Hisarcıklıoğlu
pointed out that in addition to the rise in input prices such as fertilizer and
feed in agriculture, drought can also turn into a very big problem. Pointing
out that the working capital need of companies has also increased due to high
inflation, the TOBB President said, “We also convey to the government that new
loan and KGF surety loan packages are needed to support them. For example, in
loan rates and limits, we were all experiencing great difficulties. First we
met with our Central Bank, then with our public banks, at TOBB. Later, new
regulations were introduced. Hopefully, we expect it to reflect positively on
the loan interest rate.”
In his speech,
Hisarcıklıoğlu also gave the good news that they will build a school in Hopa.
