Zonguldak Chamber of Commerce and Industry Chairman Metin Demir and Assembly Speaker Zafer Sağlam visited the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu at his office with the accompanying delegation.

At the reception, TOBB President Hisarcıklıoğlu wished success for the new term efforts and conveyed his good wishes.

Metin Demir made the following remarks in his statement after the visit: “We, as Zonguldak Chamber of Commerce and Industry, have determined the elections for council members as of October 1, and our board of directors and elections for other duties as of October 8. The tradition in the Chamber of Commerce and Industry continues. We have also done the necessary rejuvenation and reinforcement work. This year, we wanted to work more energetically by going to a 6-person renovation in our 30-person assembly. We can be the leading institution in the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges on the board of directors. 3 of our 9 board members are women this term. That is also a source of pride for us.

We completed our election process without any unpleasantness befitting the 103-year-old institutional identity of Zonguldak CCI, befitting the family atmosphere of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges, and immediately requested an appointment from our President Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu. We came today. Thanks to Mr. President, he received our large delegation. The next process will be the General Assembly of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges. On the occasion of this visit, we wished success to our Rifat President in the General Assembly and expressed our commitment and that we will be with him as always. I thank them for accepting.
