Eskişehir Commodity Exchange Chairman Ömer Zeydan and Assembly Speaker Hasan Öztürk visited the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu at his office with their delegation.

At the reception, TOBB President Hisarcıklıoğlu wished success for the new term efforts and conveyed his good wishes.

In his statement after the visit, Ömer Zeydan said: “We are very happy to be under the physical roof of the Union of Chambers with our entire team. Mr. Rifat received us today. I thank him. They had the opportunity to meet my new colleagues. We came as a crowded group. We visited him with our council members, committee members, consultants, board of directors. We had a good election season. This is my third term. We completed our elections between 1-7 October. We made our elections as a single list. We were not happy that there was no opponent. We would have liked it to have opposition. I think competition is good as long as it is right, fair and moral. I have a happiness on behalf of my institution in the elections. Although we entered the elections with a single list, there was a turnout of 70 percent. This made us happy.

At the General Assembly in May, we, together with all our fellow delegates, both nominated Mr. Hisarcıklıoğlu and we support his candidacy to the end. I undertake to do our best and whatever duty we have in this regard on behalf of myself and my friends.”
